Brewing Beer at Home
Brewing your own beer at home is a fantastically rewarding hobby. Not only does it allow you to create beers that match your own tastes, but it also results in brews of very high quality. Over my 25 years of brewing experience, I’ve encountered a lot of confusing and contradictory advice both on the internet and in published books. On this site, I’ve documented tried-and-tested methods for producing great beer, primarily focusing on the “All Grain” method.
This site mainly covers the "All Grain" Method of brewing, detailing the processes from start to finish. This is the best way to produce beers that rival and exceed the quality of the main breweries.

Brewing Journals
A great way to follow the steps required for an "All Grain" Brew without having to read every step in detail, is to follow one of my brewing journals.
The journals follow every step, including "Cock Ups", and can provide real insight into the practicalities of a brew day. Everything from the recipe , strike heat, timings, to final tasting notes are covered.
Take a look at the Brewing Journals Index.
